| Families are referred to the Shelter Network Motel Voucher Program through San Mateo County Children and Family Services or CalWORKS. Through this program, families are provided with emergency shelter in a motel for up to fourteen days. The program is administered by Shelter Network and serves homeless families in San Mateo County. During the stay in a motel, Shelter Network Case Managers work with families to meet their immediate needs and assist them in finding more stable temporary or permanent housing.
