Becoming an Alumni of a Shelter Network Program is a tremendous achievement. Keep those great, positive feelings of personal success going! Maintain the momentum of all those great life skills and financial management and savings programs!
Get involved in the Alumni Association of Shelter Network by joining a Shelter Network Support Committee today. It is easy to get started: Contact Lynnelle, the Shelter Network Volunteer Manager, at lbilsey@shelternetwork.org or 650-685-5880 ext. 25.
Shelter Network Support Committees are groups of dedicated volunteers at each program site who mentor Alumni and work together to help meet the overall needs of each Shelter Network program. For example, Support Committees arrange special educational and entertainment events including holiday parties.
Shelter Network Alumni are invited to join the Support Committees at the shelter program that they graduated from, or at any Shelter Network location.
As participants, Alumni will have the opportunity to:
Stay involved – just six months after you graduate, you are eligible to join a Support Committee. This is a great way to celebrate, and get some help to sustain, your success.
This is your opportunity to get involved and start giving back to families and individuals currently in the Shelter Network’s programs. This is an opportunity to help the community of Shelter Network become even more successful and to show appreciation.
